Abstract

The importance of family stems from its significant role, namely the making of an individual who benefits himself and others. The family gives a rise and to provides a fertile ground for sound individuals. The family is the basic block for building block of a larger society which itself is formed from the total sum of all the families put together. The family shapes individuals, both men and women, and builds values nourished by guidance, support, encouragement, and so forth. The extended family structure from both parents side has many benefits, including strength, consistency, and physical and psychological support, especially in times of need. The extended family unit also provides emotional and spiritual companionship for all the members. This article will deal with Prophetic teaching and practice regarding His connections with the maternal & paternal families especially with female relatives, so we can educate ourselves about the importance and beauty of these relationships in our lives. The Holy Prophet PBUH took care of all his relationship whether they were close or far off relatives throughout the life and set a best example for his followers. The purpose of this article is to get awareness about our precious relationships so that we can be able to nourish them.
