The Importance Islamic attaches to preaching Good Morals

Abstract

There are five aspects of Islam which are beliefs, worships, dealings, punishment and compensation and moral. It means that morals are the fifth big portion of Islam. Islam has always focused on all the aforementioned aspects very strictly. The morals also come in the category of three hundred and sixty behaviors of Islam. All the three hundred and sixty behaviors of Islam revolve around the very aspect i.e. moral, which is very prominent in the personality of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) And the Holy Quran has given very first place (to Morals) in the list of other behaviors. Therefore Allah Almighty has declared in the Holy Quran:  (وَإِنَّكَ لَعَلَىٰ خُلُقٍ عَظِيمٖ) and you are of a great moral character. And thus Muhammad (ﷺ) is the role model for all of his followers. Likewise, Islam has given a big importance to that moral should be acquired by each follower and should be preached to the unknowing people to be practice upon. This note discusses the very issue in a research way to make the researcher know about the importance given by this great religion to it. This article contain on a preface, three main point topics and a conclusion at the end. The preface includes the definition of good manners. The first part deals with the ethics and morals in the Holy Quran. The second part elaborates the importance of ethics in the Sunnah of the messenger of Allah i.e. Muhammad (ﷺ), while the third portion explains the ethics according to the pious predecessors. The conclusion consists of the most important findings we get through this research. This note will open new areas of researches for the students and will enhance their thirst for seeking out the solution.
