Fiqhu Alseerah in the Ahadith of Worship (Prayers) of The Prophet (ﷺ) in “Shamail E Tirmidhi”

Abstract

The sole purpose and duty of human creation is divine worship and pleasing our Allah Almighty.Prayers is the best means of attaining closeness to Allah and His pleasure.Islam emphasizes moderation in implementing its teaching.In the teachings of islam there is moderation and balance.If we look at the timings of prayers,the number of Rakat,different facilities and allowances for the sick and travellers,  all these things are the manifestation of its principles of moderation and balance in its teachings and preachings. The life of prophet Muhammad(peace be upon him) has been presented as the best example for all believers.Hence,success in all acts of worship and in any field of life,in islam is not possible without following his footsteps.These acts of worship cannot achieve acceptance from Allah unless they are performed in accordance with his Sunnah( way of life).As mentioned in Sahih Bukhari,a group of young companions once sought advice on how to learn about the practices inside Prophet Muhammad’s house,so that they could follow them.For this purpose, they took turns serving the mothers of the believers and found out that when the prophet(peace be upon him) enters the house, his routines are similar to any other household head.He rests,spends time with his wives and children, worships Allah,inquires about the well.being of those coming and going,and fulfils all the necessary tasks of the house.All these things clearly show that islam emphasizes moderation in every aspect of life.
