Abstract

This research paper undertakes an analytical study of the Constitution of Pakistan, with a specific focus on its provisions regarding fundamental human rights, drawing insights from the Seera The objective of this study is to examine how the principles of human rights in Pakistan's constitution align with the ethical and moral guidelines laid out in the Seera. The Constitution of Pakistan serves as the supreme law of the country and guarantees various fundamental human rights to its citizens. These rights encompass a wide range of civil, political, economic, social, and cultural liberties. The Seera provides a rich source of moral and ethical principles that emphasize justice, compassion, and equality, which are central to the concept of human rights. This research paper will delve into the specific articles and clauses of the Constitution of Pakistan that pertain to human rights, comparing and contrasting them with the teachings and practices of the Prophet Muhammad (SAW). It will explore how these rights are protected, promoted, and implemented in Pakistan's legal and social framework and whether they align with the ideals and values of the Seera. Furthermore, the study will discuss any challenges or discrepancies in the implementation of these rights, as well as potential areas for improvement. It aims to contribute to the ongoing dialogue on human rights in Pakistan and how they can be better aligned with the principles of justice and compassion found in the Seera.
