Rhetorical Styles Adopted in Quranic Peace Verses

Abstract

The language of the Holy Quran is unsurpassed in its accuracy of expression and meaning. Each letter and word has its worth while the language used  in the noble Quran is errorless perfect. Every sentence of the Quran consists of these unique literary features. Rhetoric ( Ilm ul Balagha)  is a key that is frequently used in the Holy Quran particularly in Quranic Verses related to peace. It inspires the audience and draws their attention to concentrate on the essence of the meaning by presenting different aspects of the word. The concepts of peace in the words of Allah are in delicate meanings that encompass all aspects of worldly and rhetorical beautify. There were many words in Arabic language before the mission of Prophet PBUH which were not being used in the meanings that Islam has introduced. This article aims to reveal the expressional and imaginative semantics and embellishment in the verses of peace in the Holy Quran. Descriptive and applied method is used in this article.
